Dr. Bishop away Oct.25th to Nov.19th for World Lifesaving Championships!

Dr. Bishop will be in Australia for 3 weeks to compete in the World Lifesaving Championships in Adelaide! He has been training hard for 2 years in anticipation of this event. He will be back in the office Mon. Nov. 19th.

While Dr. Bishop, as a specialist of Internal Medicine, does monitor his patient's health issues related to BARIATRICS (obesity & associated conditions), he is NOT a family doctor. Therefore, ALL medical concerns should be directed towards your family doctor while Dr. Bishop is away.

If you have a medical emergency, dial 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room.

If you are a Lap Band patient with an emergency, contact THE SURGEON/CLINIC THAT PERFORMED YOUR SURGERY. Pending their advice, the other doctor in Ottawa who has performed adjustments for our patients is Dr. Jose Gutauskas: (613) 725-9180, should you require an emergency de-fill.

We will post updates on Dr. Bishop's progress as he competes! Good luck Dr. Bishop!
